We highly recommend DLR. They seem to know everything about Volvos and will
answer any question you have. Their honesty is refreshing. The prices and quality they
offer can't be beat - believe me, we looked around for nearly 6 months before finding
them!
We love our new car and still can't believe the deal we got. We'll back for our next one
as soon as my wife needs a new car.

Thank you so much for the awesome deal you gave us on our "new" S60. The car is amazing--inside and out. We had
a lot of fun driving home to the Bay Area. It got great gas mileage, was sporty, and ran great.
We appreciate your fairness, patience, and straightforwardness. We've been searching for an S60 for two months,
talked to a lot of dealers, and looked at many cars. Your selection was better than any we found at the other Volvo
dealerships and the price we paid was well worth the trip to Portland. When you told me on the phone the car looked
new and even had that new-car smell, I thought no four-year old car could be in that great of condition. Well, every time
we open the doors and get inside, we found ourselves commenting on the new-car smell.
From the moment we spoke on the phone until we picked up the car, you were honest and accessible, even offered to
pick us up at the airport. You answered all of our questions, arranged to meet our independent pre-delivery inspector
(who with a smile on his face, let us know we were getting a great car), and even showed us how easy it would be to
add an i-Pod adapter. This is our first Volvo purchase, but won't be our last. We will be back.

i was sure i wanted a volvo xc70 - i was hoping for a later model one and had a budget of around $10k - i presumed i'd
be buying from a private party but i read as much as possible on the edmunds.com site, including with great interest the
inside story of the reporter who got a job as a car salesman -
with the secret knowledge i thought i'd take my chances with a few of the dealers advertising xc70's - i had the
opportunity to deflect the promise of some return calls, and always had an ear cocked for "the rap" -
nordic had a vehicle in my range so i called; nice and polite and an offer to come on over for a ride - so i did -
arriving i'm greeted by this kindly, baby-faced youth with a 5 o'clock shadow - i figure he's probably the help but i like the
casual sensibility and then he says,"i'm ole" - he shows me the auto; it's beautiful: an '02 with 80k miles, he says "i'll
get the keys" , tosses them to me and we're away - i mention i expect to be driving in mountains so i'd like to try some
hills - he directs me to some climbs -
meanwhile, we're driving in silence - i'm waiting for the pitter-patter of salesmanship and he's just watching the road - i
ask some questions, he answers briefly and along we go
i realize this is the most perfect sales technique ever worked on me; the car is speaking for itself - so i bought without
trying to bargain, and have enjoyed immensely - it dazzles my friends, not that that was the intention, and using the AC
improves the mileage so i'm quite comfortable this summer and my carbon footprint may even be less, as the manual
suggests - for the pleasure of giving someone else my hard-earned money i cannot recommend anyone more highly -
a tradesperson on an errand came to my house and noticing the new car asked how i like my xc70 - he mentioned that
he had just passed 300k miles and still loves his car - i passed this on to ole who joked that the guy must not spend
much time in one place - if i need an even newer car, i'll certainly return to Nordic - top marks; 5 stars - mmc, corvallis
